Hi,
Is it possible that Hyperspin could be triggering a port scanning alert with firewalls, and hence be blocked?
I'm personally using CSF with cPanel which is probably the most widespread hosting and firewall solution for small and medium hosting companies.
If it is affected, maybe we should know all the Hyperspin IP's and set rules to allow?
Thanks,

We do not know if your firewall will block Hyperspin because every firewall works differently. Strictly speaking, our service does not "port-scan" (attempt to connect to every possible port number to reveal open ports); we only check the ports configured in your monitoring.
The best way to avoid blocking us is to white list ALL of our IP addresses. You can find them at http://www.hyperspin.com/network.php .
Thank you. |
