Hi,

I have setup my first server monitor for HTTP

I called the Test: HTTP.
Now on the Report it has: HTTP HTTP port 80

What will I get in a text message if it goes down will it be

HTTP HTTP port 80
or will it be
HTTP port 80

The reason I ask I was wondering if I should of called the test VPS

Would the text message look like this, the same as the email ?

HTTP (www.domain.com) HTTP (Port 80)
DOWN at Feb 25 2009 01:40 PM (EU/Western)
Err: cannot connect to port 80

Regards,
Garry

It will look like this:
Quote:
HTTP (www.domain.com) HTTP (Port 80)
DOWN at Feb 25 2009 01:40 PM (EU/Western)
Err: cannot connect to port 80

The field before the hostname is the "server name". VPS will be more appropriate.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Thank you.
