I have a sub domain which I've set Hyperspin to monitor. This sub domain is used purely to deliver quotes and therefore doesn't have traffic landing directly on it. Therefore our index page is simply a redirect from 'quote.domain.co.uk' to just 'domain.co.uk'.

I want Hyperspin to monitor quote.domain.co.uk but think the redirect is making it skip over the sub domain entirely. I can't set a path past the top level domain so I'm not sure what to do.

Is it worth making the index page redirect after a few seconds so Hyperspin hits the sub domain before the redirect takes effect?

Thanks.

Could you please PM me your username so that I can check your settings?

Received your PM, and checked your account.

You set up "quote.domain.co.uk" as a "server" in your account, and monitor the HTTPS port. Based on this setting, our system will connect to the HTTPS port on quote.domain.co.uk and make sure a valid HTTP header is received.

We do not actually download the HTML content, and do not follow any redirection. So, it does not matter where you redirect the page to, or how long the delay is.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Thank you.
