I was using Hyperspin's monitoring for quite a while. I paid the extra amount for SMS notification, which I'm sure you guys were making money from. I didn't know that my monitoring suddenly expired and looked in my emails just now. Don't see anything listed there.
The long story short is that my server went down this weekend. It probably could have been fixed quickly but I had no idea what happened since I didn't receive any notice from Hyperspin about the downtime. Nailed me badly with massive downtime during a moment when our site was doing well. Bad timing. I'm not sure what prevents someone from signing up with a new account but you certainly want to tell customers that a "free" account they have is expiring and has expired. This is the result. |
