We are (right now) blocking ping requests to hopefully stop DDOS attacks (even though we have not been subject to them). We are using a Cisco Firewall.

Is there a way that we can still use Hyperspin's services?

Thank you!

Dear Corey,

You may add our IP addresses to your firewall whitelist.

Please let us know if you need further assistance.

Thank you.

Here is a question from them:

Do you need full access from IPs in the first list to the all your servers or just specific server and port?

Dear Corey,

Please allow all of our 8 IP addresses to access the services you are monitoring.

For example, if you would like to ping your server, please allow the 8 IP addresses to ping. You do not need to give our monitoring stations "full access", just give enough for our servers to monitor your services.

To confirm if you have correctly setup your firewall, run a quick test from our monitoring stations.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Thank you.

Thanks - I'll tell them full access then to all ports and then run the test when they get that set up
