Hello,

It seems like when user finish the 14 days trial the initial test that the user setup is automatically deleted and the reports are deleted as well, is that so?

Eyal.

Hi eyal,

When free trial ends, your client is given 3 days to upgrade, or they can let the system downgrade their account 3 days later. An email such as the one below will be sent to your client:

-------------------------- begin sample email notice -------------------------
Dear XX (username: xxx),

Your Free Trial for Professional account has ended on Jul 31 2006 10:23 PM, thus your account has been reverted to a Free account. We hope you have enjoyed the free trial.

The new monitoring interval of your websites and servers is now 60 mins. If you have set up any alert contacts, maintenance schedules or public report template, they will be removed 3 days later.

The following items do not fulfill the requirement of free account and have been temporarily marked as "floating". They will be removed from our system 3 days later (Aug 03 2006 10:23 PM). To keep them, please upgrade to Professional account.

Floating tests:

somewhere.com : TCP Test (Port 110)
somewhere.com : TCP Test (Port 53)
somewhere.com : TCP Test (Port 25)
somewhere.com : TCP Test (Port 21)

If you need the extra features offered by Professional account, please consider purchasing it. Our service supplements your hosting solution and gives you total peace of mind.

-------------------------- end sample email notice -------------------------

Please let us know should you have any further question.

Thank you.

I just checked your account, some of your users have 60-min test in their account.

The first step of the downgrade process is to change the monitoring interval to 60-min, after that some tests may be deleted/reported for the following reasons:
1. there are more than 1 test in the account
2. the account is using a test type prohibited in the free account (HTTP non port 80, HTTPS, TCP, or website test that uses HTTPS, custom port, query string, POST, authentication, required keywords or excluded keywords)

Please refer to http://www.hyperspin.com/compare.php for limitations of free accounts.

I can further investigate if you PM me the username of the user in question.

Thank you.
